
Georgia Ethics Course
This comprehensive course is designed to provide physical therapists with an in-depth understanding of the ethical and legal standards required to practice in Georgia. Participants will explore the Georgia Physical Therapy Practice Act, the rules and regulations governing physical therapy practice, and key ethical principles relevant to clinical decision-making.
Through engaging content and real-world case studies, this course ensures that attendees are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of professional responsibility, patient rights, and legal compliance. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to pass the Georgia Ethics and Jurisprudence Exam confidently and practice with integrity and adherence to state regulations.

Item Writing Course
This item writing workshop is being hosted by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) in partnership with the American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT) on September 16-17, 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina directly preceding the AAPT Conference.
Please note that attendance is reserved for attendees of the 2026 AAPT Conference. This free pre-conference Item Writing Workshop is provided at no additional cost to conference attendees and is eligible for CEU credit.
Development of the NPTE is an important component of the Federation’s mission to protect the public by providing service and leadership that promote safe and competent physical therapy practice. Your contribution as an Item Writer for the NPTE is critical in supporting this mission. A $200 stipend will be provided to participating item writers once they have generated 20 items that have successfully passed review.
